Joanna brings a wealth of knowledge to NM Aesthetics with all things skincare. She is highly skilled at HydraFacials, dermaplaning, chemical peels, microneedling, extractions and customizing individual skincare routines for patients. She grew up as an Army brat and has lived all over the United States as well as overseas. After graduating from Virginia Tech, Joanna and her husband Drew settled into the Northern Virginia area and have since gained a furbaby bulldog, Hamilton, and a human baby, Callan! If you ask her, Joanna considers Hawaii to be home but has lived in Virginia for over 10 years. 

Joanna started off her aesthetic career as a freelance makeup artist (like Lina!) specializing in bridal makeup. As more and more people sat in front of her, she realized the true importance of skin health. She obtained her master esthetician license and fell in love with the skincare world. She truly enjoys connecting with each patient and helping them on their journey to better skin health.
