Micaela is a Master Esthetician at NM Aesthetics with a genuine passion for skincare, beauty, and helping people feel confident in their skin. Her love for aesthetics started with her own struggles with her skin, which sparked her curiosity about skincare and eventually inspired her to turn that interest into a career. She attended the Aveda Institute in 2022 to complete her basic esthetics program and spent the next three years working as an esthetician, building hands-on experience and discovering just how much she loves what she does. Wanting to take her career to the next level and dive deeper into advanced treatments, she continued her education at the Esthetic Institute and earned her Master Esthetician license. Joining the NM Aesthetics team is an exciting new chapter for Micaela, and she's excited to continue learning, growing, and helping her patients achieve their best skin yet!

One of Micaela's favorite parts of being an esthetician is seeing the moment a patient looks in the mirror after their treatment and sees that glow. There's truly nothing better! She's especially passionate about treatments like dermaplaning and Hydrafacial and loves creating customized experiences based on each patient's skin and goals. Micaela believes skincare should be both effective and enjoyable, and she loves making her patients feel relaxed, cared for, and excited about their skin. Although she's new to NM Aesthetics, she brings four years of experience in the aesthetics industry with her, along with an endless curiosity for learning and a serious love for all things skincare.

Micaela is a Northern Virginia native, originally from Fairfax, and currently calls Tysons home. When she's not in the treatment room, you can usually find her painting, drawing, cooking, baking, traveling, or looking for an excuse to spend time outside. Deer have always been her favorite animal because she thinks they are incredibly beautiful, peaceful, and majestic. And, of course, she can't forget her cat, Elsa, who is basically her daughter and definitely runs the household. Micaela is happiest when she's creating something, exploring somewhere new, or spending time with the people (and pets!) she loves. She's incredibly passionate about her career and feels so lucky to do something every day that she genuinely loves.
